Y'all remember Aussie Kim lives in the Delta, out in the middle of cotton fields. Well, the nighttime view seems to be just as wonderful as the daytime view. They sure are living large down there.
Anyway, Aussie Kim and her homeschoolers are busy studying the moon. She was nice enough to send us some photos of their moon-watching adventures. I'm tacky enough to give her a hard time. What are friends for?
Aussie Kim calls this one, "Cloud Giving Birth."
I call it, "Cloud Droppings."
Her title is better.
Aussie Kim says, "Perhaps the clouds will clear soon.
I say, "All powerful and omnipotent Dirt Dude, Ruler of All He Surveys, lowers the sun in the sky."
My title is better.
Aussie Kim calls this photo, "Skipping Stones."
I think it should be, "Geological field work."
My title is way better. Maybe.
Aussie Kim says, "Where? Where? I don't see it. Oh, there."
I say, "It's like looking for a moon in a cloud-stack."
My title totally rocked, Aussie Kim. Just ask the omnipotent one.
Aussie Kim described this one as, "There it is."
I'd call it, "Dusky Moon."
Both titles could use a little work. What do you think?
Aussie Kim looked at this and said, "It's getting darker."
I looked at this and said, "It's getting brighter."
Who's right?
Thanks to Aussie Kim for photos and titles (and for putting up with me).
On ya mate. This was funny!

Ideally the cloud giving birth photo should be viewed upside down to correlate more closely with the real life event....
