New Year's Linkage

For New Year's Eve we're having red beans and rice, gumbo, potato salad and lotsa other stuff. All this means that I will be cooking and not posting tomorrow. So sad, I know. Not to fear, though. I have links for you. And not just any links. I have Louisiana links. They rock.

Michele asked me what a King Cake is. After I ranted and raved about a world in which a person can grow up without eating King Cake, I cried for her and looked up some links. Here's a good one.
