Here are a few of the questions my children have asked me over the last 24 hours (my answers are in parenthesis):
- "Do I have to clean my room?" (Yes.)
- "Is there really a Book of Secrets?" (Maybe.)
- "Where's the jam?" (Fridge.)
- "Why do I have to clean my room?" (Because.)
- "Where's the toothpaste?" (Bathroom.)
- "Why are North Dakota and South Dakota two states instead of one?" (Wikipedia.)
- "Could I have somma that?" (Probably.)
- "Are we going to the library?" (Might.)
- "Are you finished with the computer?" (Never.)
- "Will it take all day to get my room clean?" (Indubitably.)
They ask. I answer. That's how we roll.
