It's been awhile. I very sorry, but you see I've been buried under a mountain of dog fur. And cat dander. And leaves tracked in from the yard. Thanks to Dirt Devil and their machine that broke after one year of use, which still hasn't been repaired, my house is an allergic nightmare. I have a girlfriend who has graciously lent me her Rainbow Vac a couple of times. However, I am used to vacuuming every day - twice a day when the dog is shedding - so it's getting a little hairy. Literally. Word on the vacuum is that they are replacing it. The new one should be here on Thursday. I wouldn't be surprised if it explodes after the first vacuuming. There is seriously a lot of dog hair in here. I've been considering raking it up (the dog hair, that is) and sending it to Dirt Devil - just as a little thank you for all the aggravation they've caused over the past month. Illegal? Maybe. Thoroughly satisfying? You betcha.
What else? Christmas stuff. Read the Twilight books - loved them. Finally took Christmas pictures - Sal's black eye and Butterfly's cat scratch have healed quite nicely, thank you very much. We've also been trying to catch up on all of the school work we got behind on whilst we had the plague. That's pretty much it. I'd love to tell you we've invented the ultimate alternative fuel, brokered world peace, or cured the common cold, but (let's face facts) I can't even vacuum my living room. Maybe next year...
