April Showers Bring May Fleece

The jackets were cleaned. The flannel was back in the linen closet. The fleece had flown.

But it's May 3rd and the heater is on.

Oh, to be in flip-flops, now that Spring is here.

Memories from the Closet

 I decided to clean out my closet. It was time. We've lived here seven years, after all. I found a box with twenty-two rolls of undeveloped film.

I decided to get them developed. It was time for that, too.

Here are some of the treasures I discovered.

Julia. (above) We lost her in the spring of 2009 at the age of 17. I cried for months.

Still not over it.

 

Webelos I Pine Wood Derby. Sal won first place. Tiger was overwhelmed by the moment. Or he was cranky and needed a nap. Whatever works for you.

 

Butterfly and company. No explanation needed.

 

And, finally, the Best Christmas Pageant Ever. This was the one were Tiger (a.k.a. The Sheep) slugged the donkey on the steps of the altar.

I can laugh...now.
